- It should be capable of registration and legal protection, a name cannot be registered if it infringes on existing brand name.
- It must be protected and easily fame in market that no other company try to catch it or makes its duplicate.
- It should be identified with the product category, Jeans; shirts, Sports, and foods items have attractive brand names.
